I have lived here my entire life of roughly 30 years no further than 10 minutes from Red Rock. Expansion in Las Vegas has been extensive and drastic. Red Rock is meant to house wildlife and our natural dessert. Not to mention, this expansion changes the footprint of the city and while I see it could be a financially empowering move, it is not the right one. Southwest Vegas should not expand in that direction as right now it is the outskirt area of town and people like myself don’t want it to feel even more like a frenzy here. The protection of Red Rock has already been stroke and should not continue. Please consider all of the above and don’t change the entire soul and vibe of this city, where my parents and grandparents have lived for so long. Thank you.

I drive the loop from Blue Diamond to Charleston to attend Western Career Text Academy once a week during the school term, as a Kiwanis Key Club Advisor. Yes, it takes longer than the freeway but the drive is serene, peaceful and sometimes I see the burrows. This is God's country. Don't mess with it.

Commercial interests and suburban sprawl have no place permanently destroying the gift of Red Rock Canyon. By allowing this development, the city is setting a precedent for future developments to swallow up a natural boon to the public. Once development starts, there's no going back. Red Rock may be lost forever.

Entire 31 Miles of Hwy 159 should be closed up as part of a Federal Park its Entrance on each end. The proposed development is ridiculous.

Please do not allow one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the USA to be irreversibly damaged by this project.
