The homes have already encroached the Red Rock area. Stop now! if you visit the area often you will see tons of tourist having their pictures taken at the entrance sign just as they do the Las Vegas Sign. Additional development of any kind will not only have an impact on local hikers, scramblers and walker but our tourism.

We need to keep the area natural. I hate to see our community fall prey to greed and the idea that's we need this is unclear thinking. I lived in an area that had one beautiful, convenient hiking area., developers came in and built homes, traffic increased two fold, crime rose and the area became so polluted it was unrecognizable. It was sad. Let's not do the same.

I used to see the beautiful Red Rock Mountains from my front yard; now I see new homes. Enough building already! It has gotten ridiculous here.

Build north of Las Vegas. People who live in Vegas just want to get away from the city sometimes. Please keep the Red Rock area a getaway.

Red rock means more than you know to not only millions of people who enjoy it's precious beauty. But especially to the Vegas locals who call it home to exploring our beautiful desert. Don't ruin the one great thing we have.
