Red Rocks should be protected for many reasons, but you all probably understand $ best. My partner and I come to climb at Red Rocks for a couple of weeks each year. We probably spend $130 per day on meals, lodging, gear, etc. If the quality of the environment and experience there continue to degrade, we will go elsewhere.

Please preserve this amazing resource. Red Rock Canyon would be changed forever to benefit a few greedy individuals. Some places are too special to taint with irresponsible development. Current and future generations deserve to experience Red Rock canyon as it is today.

I do not want to see more development any closer to Red Rock than it already is - leave our land alone. I will vote against anyone who allows this to happen.

I grew up in Pahrump, Nevada. Every time we drove to Las Vegas we drove by Red rock. Now that I live in Ohio, I rarely get back to Las Vegas to see Red Rock. But when I do, I always get excited to see Red Rock. I hope the next visit I'll be able to take my son and share of the beauty, life, and Wonder of the area. There is no reason to build more houses farther out. We should be building up not out.

Red Rocks is my sanctuary! It will be ruined if I hike there and have to look at a housing development

All these years I thought Red Rock was a state park! I can't believe that this is not protected wilderness! Needs to be a state park, minimum.

For years, I and my climbing friends have greatly enjoyed the remoteness of Red Rock Canyon from the city of Las Vegas. There are not many places like it. That remoteness can not be replaced. Please keep it rural.

Maintain the natural, open beauty that has brought peace to so many hikers, cyclists, climbers and people simply driving through Red Rock over the years. There are plenty of places for people to stay near Red Rock that don't impact the peaceful nature of this unique place.

It would be a huge mistake to build so close to Red Rocks which is internationally renowned.
