I wish to keep red rock rural. It is a sacred place and should stay that way. There are plenty of other places to build houses for wealthy individuals! Those houses will not help the housing shortage and will only cater to a small minority of people in Las Vegas many of whole it may not be their primary residence.

Save rural preservations areas. No need for this and destroy desert tortoises habitat. Plenty of surround blm can build on in all directions to Vegas not one of the most serene historic places around here.

$80M settlement to a developer after allowing the mine to pillage the area for pennies for decades. Couldn't imagine a more greedy situation. Where is the water coming from, and how does it get to the top of the mesa? Urban infill is the only solution for new las vegas housing and anyone who thinks otherwise is a hot Earth nihilist.

We don’t need more houses. We can barely afford having the amount of people we have now, let alone more people coming in. All you guys care about is money, well how about the well being of the people that already live here?

We have enough space for shopping malls in plenty of other places that don’t destroy Americas natural beauty

The only the thing this city cares about is money… the almighty dollar. It has always shown us that through nearly zero preservation of history, architecture or protections of natural land. Every year houses keep inching closer and closer to Red Rock so everyone can line their pockets. This is pathetic! Leave Red Rock alone! We only have a few state parks for enjoyment! We don’t need more houses being built RIGHT UP into Red Rock’s edge!!!
