Please do not allow this development to take place. There are plenty of other areas to build such a development that to do not impact the rural areas of Nevada treasured by me and many others.

Red rocks is a beautiful place to preserve nature while being so proximal to such an expanse of urban sprawl. I cannot imagine red rocks if it gets developed. What would that mean for the climbing in the area?

I lived in Las Vegas as a child and enjoyed the stunning beauty of this place then and while visiting the area since moving to CA. Housing developments DO NOT belong here!

This is one of the premier destinations for climbing in the country, and allowing the developer in will destroy that. Areas like this are not common, and can never be recreated.

While I don't live in the area, I visit Red Rock Canyon every year with my husband and friends to spend several days hiking, climbing, and soaking in the beautiful, one-of-a-kind scenery. I learned to climb on this beautiful sandstone and I know many other people who hold this area very close to their hearts. Please don't allow commercial development on this unique and beautiful landscape.
