Put money into expanding Red Rock outdoors, widen the roads for walkers, runners, bikers. Increase the roads into the park to allow for more exploring. Tell the developers to find an area suffering from blight and fix that, and stay away from our national treasures. Thank you. KK

Las Vegas has thousands of unoccupied homes, hotel room, and businesses. There is no reason to develop this beautiful rural area. It would be a disgusting sin to destroy that. This isn't building out of necessity, this isn't a keystone pipeline situation, this is ruining a natural conservation area for POSSIBLE economic growth. Develop elsewhere in the valley, but not Red Rock.

Let's be real, great national parks are one of the best assets Utah has to offer. We receive tourism from around the world visiting red rock, and keeping it rural preserves the draw of that experience.

I'm not a Vegas resident, just someone who visited Red Rock Canyon last year. The place is beautiful. There's barely enough water in the area for the existing demands. Surely a huge housing development can't be put ahead of a famous natural wonder?
Save red rcok
