There is plenty of land to build. But this area is an escape into the true nature of NV. Please don't take this away....

Keep Red Rock the way it is. There is literally thousands of acres in the surrounding area you can quickly drive from to get here. There's no need to develop this land.

We must control our growth in this region, protection of the habitat is more than important. It is vital we keep housing from spreading too far.

I love to come to Las Vegas, and when I come in the summer I always spend half a day at Red Rock for the peace and tranquility there. Don't lose that.

This is outrageous. Such a beautiful piece of nature and central feature to the Las Vegas community should not be turned into a commodity.

I lived in Vegas for a year back in 2005. I still go back once a year solely to visit Red Rock Canyon. It's beautiful and idyllic. I love that I can hike in nature during the day and go to a five-star restaurant on The Strip at night. Please don't change it!

There is enough "non-rural" in this city. Respect and preserve the nature we have left.

Selling off conservation areas to new development undermines the reason for the areas - protecting these areas is key to preserving what little is left of natural environments and habitats. Developers should be forced to be more efficient with land use, redeveloping brownfield and inner city sites rather than eating into protected areas.
