Please don't ruin such a remarkable area! The colors and texture are unbelievable and we always make it a point to play in Red Rock whenever we're heading to Vages. My kids had the time of there lives at Bonnie Springs, seeing wild mules and climbing all over Red Rock. Please don't take this away!!

I am not a local resident but I visit the area to recreate and believe that this wonderful area should not be encroached upon. This is a valuable resource for locals and tourists.

Preserving something at least something unique is important, we mustn't forget our roots.

If we continue to build on nature, we'll have nothing left to call nature. It has to stop. Protect the beauty of Red Rock.

We, the undersigned, encourage local, state and federal officials and relevant agencies to protect the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and vicinity from the negative impacts of non-rural development, and to preserve and enhance the conservation and recreation opportunities for which the NCA was created.

This is ridiculous that this even has to be petitioned.

We live in a desert! We're in a drought! People we're never meant to be here. That should be common sense.

I remember going to Bonnie Springs in 1981 when I was 11 years old. Red Rock was so different back then. You had to drive through the desert to get there. Now you have to drive through development. It's shocking how close the homes are to Red Rocks. Development shouldn't be allowed to make it's way into the canyon!

This is our world and it is dwindling one acre, one property at a time. We have to act now to preserve what we can instead of saying that future generations will take care of our already shrinking world.

Don't let them destroy this beautiful place. I've been going here since I was a child and having a place to escape the city is a beautiful thing. There are enough vacant homes to house all the homeless, there is no need for more. Especially into a breathtaking landscape such as this.. I honestly don't know how anyone can live with themselves if they go through with this horrendous project.
