It all comes down to water. We can't provide for the people and lifestyle we have now. We can't support more. I love Las Vegas and call it home after living here for 14 years. Let's take care of what we have before we decide to go bigger.

Red Rock demands our immediate protection from future building projects which detract from the natural beauty. "Green" spaces are disappearing from the USA due to our greed and inability to understand that the health of our current and future generations depends upon providing outdoor areas for people to treasure and enjoy. Our mental and physical health as well as our environmental safety require that you act to protect this area. today!

Homes can be placed elsewhere. We do have a lot of land still without invading Red Rock.

I STRONGLY disagree with the development plans that are proposed for the area just south of the Red Rock Visitor's Center. I believe this encroachment will severely disturb the natural beauty and overall environment of the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in many different ways. More traffic, an increase in pollution and trash, disturbing of natural desert habitat and an effect on wildlife are a few of the many adverse effects that the proposed development would have. KEEP RED ROCK RURAL!

I am a Las Vegas native, contractor and home owner. I understand the arguments on both sides but we have destroyed enough nevada landscapes and natural environment's for the sake of profit.

During my 5 years in Las Vegas, Red Rock was my stress release. Whether running or biking the loop, or hiking the many trails, the solitude helped relaxation. A housing development will destroy that peaceful calm. Keep Red Rock as it is!

Redrock canyon is a national treasure which draws visitors from all over the world. We are blessed to have this in our own backyard. It would be tragic to lose this to developers.

The valley does not need homes built out at Redrock. There's plenty of vacant foreclosed homes, sell and fill them first. Plenty of other vacant land in the valley to build on.
save Red Rock...do not build
