It is times like these where we need to preserve and protect our natural places more than ever. But it's not good enough to just say, "here is a line and we can build and develop right up to this line." Every year that line will get pushed back farther and farther, as developments encroach more and more, until the beautiful places in our world are gone forever. There are millions and millions of shopping centers and apartment blocks, but there is only one Red Rock Canyon. We need it. And we need it to stay the way it is.

Growing up in Vegas, Red Rocks was a favorite of mine to visit. The scenery is unbelievable. The sound of nature is out of this world and for a developer to come and take that away is insane. Please save the one section that Vegas has that feels like the greatest get away from the city. Yours truly a Vegas girl

Don't ruin the only reason I come to Vegas. Many of my friends make several visits to the canyon every year. I come 3-4 times a year to enjoy the recreation offered by the canyon.

Nevada politicians- it is beyond frustrating that you would even consider allowing something like this to happen. Doing this would take away from the sites and attractions that visitors come to see, not to mention there is an abundance of vacant homes that need to be filled.
I do not support the urban development in, or around Redrock.

I lived in Las Vegas for most of my life. I hope to return, specifically for the recreation that is available, and the escape that Red Rock provides! Do not destroy one of the reasons people love Las Vegas, Not everyone comes to Vegas for the Strip...
