Please. I grew up going to Red Rock. This place means so much to me, taking it away would be devastating.

It is foolish to develop any further on the outskirts until we have revitalized the center of the city. There is also more land to develop in North Las Vegas and other areas. Redrock is a special habitat, which would be destroyed by developing out there. It is a geological marvel that is unique to our region. We should be petitioning the government to give it the status of a National park, instead we have this backwards fight to protect it from developers.

I'm born in raised in Las Vegas. Growing up here, hiking the red rocks is what we grew up doing and I'm continuing that with my 2 boys. We are always hiking up there and I would hate to see it ruined because of development.

My family and I love to go hiking in Red Rock. It's so beautiful. Building homes and businesses out there would take away one of the only retreats near vegas to go hiking.

I'm all for building, but rather than destroy the one source of natural beauty in Las Vegas, perhaps you could find one of the many flat, dirt space and turn that into something beautiful.

I spent my elementary school years in Summerlin and many weekends spent hiking Red Rock. I would hate to see this place be taken over by concrete.
