I was born and raised in Las Vegas. Red rock was always and still will always be my favorite natural places in the world. If they developed that I don't know what I will do. I will be so sad and dissapointed in my city.

Red Rock should actually designated as a National Monument, not just another desirable area for another greedy developer and homes for the rich.

If Red Rocks takes a step towards suburbia this will rob the people of America. To me and many others, Red Rocks is a much needed peaceful and precious getaway from suburbia. There are also those who never experienced outdoors beauty of Red Rocks. They will not understand, but they will truly be robbed of this joy. Please save Red Rocks in its natural form. It is a Sanctuary to mankind.

This will end the beauty of Red Rock. The majestic desert mountains and the purity of no housing. It must remain RURAL. The lights, the traffic will damage this beautiful conservation area, Red Rock must be preserved! Janet Charlton

No one should build anywhere near Red Rock! Here's a novel idea, why don't we repair and improve all of the empty houses in the Las Vegas/Henderson area? Also, everyone who okays this should be voted out. This is only to make certain people rich. Disgraceful.

If this development happens, you will go down in history as the government officials who allowed the exploitation of what is, in my opinion, the most beautiful area in Nevada. This would affect many generations to come in many negative ways! It must be stopped!!

I visit family in Vegas a couple times each year. With all the night life, entertainment, and development in the city, the option to drive in the other direction and see the beauty of Red Rock, makes Vegas even more enticing and unique. Developing that area would greatly diminish the draw that Vegas has on tourists, not to mention a huge loss for locals who appreciate and enjoy the beauty that lies in their own back yards. What a sad shame that would be.
