We need to protect Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area not build homes. What with all the BLM land in Nevada I'm sure there are better suited areas.

Rural zoning should stay rural. Developers should not always get their zone changes. It happens way too often. We need to keep Red Rock rural. There's no going back once high density is allowed.

It's sick that they would even consider building houses here.

I live in Utah, but I grew up in Vegas, and to this day, Red Rock is my favorite place to go hiking. I call it my happy place. Let's save it, please!

I lived in Las Vegas for a total of 26 years. Our two adult sons and their families still reside there. Red Rock is a lovely escape from the traffic and glitz of the city. The scenic drive and gorgeous night sky should not be obliterated by another housing development. Please keep this beautiful area unspoiled.

We do not need 5000 more houses in the Las Vegas Valley!! What about the added traffic? 5000 homes means at least 10,000 more vehicles added to the existing traffic! STUPID!!!!

We have a very fragile environment and Red Rock gets trashed enough just by thoughtless hikers. We don't need to build a community for people to live there, there are tons of other areas in Vegas that have been untouched and that aren't in one of our few mountains that we can enjoy here.

I grew up in the Las Vegas area and can't understand why anyone would want to destroy the beauty of the red rock area with more buildings!

If me make a line for people to cross, they will find some kind of adventure in recede that line it like they do it the rainforest. Much need to put our foot down at some time.
