PLEASE, don't ruin our beautiful park for housing purposes. There are millions of acres surrounding Las Vegas that can be developed before you destroy this amazing conservation area. Millions visit the park every year to get away from the city. Don't bring the city here!

I have been to Red Rock numerous times when I've been in Vegas. Please leave it as is. It's a beautiful diversion to Las Vegas. Natural areas are more important than ever now.

It's the alternative options that keeps Vegas great. Keep the scenic beauty and develop land that is abandon and in less desirable shape. This will help more than monopolizing an area that helps give variety to the area.

There is absolutely no excuse that the government cannot save a National Conservation Area. Since when can the Govenrment not protect its own assets? This development threatens that.

Does Las Vegas really need more suburban sprawl? Does Lake Mead? We visit every year to climb. Consider preserving a beautiful place.

As a native Las Vegan, I grew up going out to Red Rock to enjoy the beauty and renewal that nature brings. Even though Red Rock is a short drive from the city, it currently feels like it's a world away. If houses are built within view of the canyon, it will no longer be that healthy escape by the city that so many of us cherish. Please protect this important natural resource, not just for us, but for our children, and their future chilren. Please be the heroes that our children need now. Thank you.
