Putting this many homes outside of town this bound to lead to further changing of zoning allowing commercial entities to arrive and further disrupt red rocks. This land is precious to me and my family. Once development occurs it cannot be undone.

Building homes in this area will destroy and fragment the habit of sensitive species, such as the desert tortoise and burrowing owl. The increase in traffic, light, and noise pollution will have far reaching effects on the surrounding habitats. Please keep Red Rock rural!

This is a campground? Not summerlin, Henderson or Vegas, this is a recreational site, somewhere locals can go to for an escape. How absurd. Life isn’t all about money aka personal gain. How about we appreciate and preserve our nature for once.

How can anyone with a conscience continue to support the destruction and development into natural habitats? WE ARE LIVING GLOBAL WARMING (which is human created) and Las Vegas will become uninhabitable soon if this continues. Please STOP and let's save natural lands, wildlife, water, air and build UP NOT OUT.

I urge local, state, and federal officials, along with relevant agencies, to safeguard the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and its surroundings from the adverse effects of non-rural development. Additionally, I call for the preservation and enhancement of the conservation and recreational opportunities for which the NCA was originally established.

The fact that the commissioner is approving these thousands of homes to be built and denying the fact that there is a water shortage to sustain the population increases is mindless acts. The boards are looking at their wallets not the prosperity of the wildlife and ecosystems they are destroying. They are also tue reasons why they are allowing the BLM to round up and kill off the majority of the wild horses and burros. All for personal gain and profit. This should be investigated by a third party to ensure the people know the truth.

Born, raised & still living in LV. The greed that the county commission & building department continually show towards the natural beauty of the valley is egregious.
Instead of allowing developers to destroy the land & iconic locations, I would like to see preservation & purchase of sites that helped shape our town. Bonnie springs was a generational location for myself & my kids. Zigfried & Roy did so much to build this town. Their beautiful extensive property in the SNW sold to developers. Why didn’t the county see value in preserving that property. Use as a park & museum.
