My family stayed in this wonderful home when we first came to Sewanee, and it would be criminal for the University and its administration to do less than everything in its power to save as much of Rebel's Rest as possible.

This school is horrible about screwing over the students and forgetting the traditions that make this school great. We have one of the largest endowments in the country, why in the world would we not keep this important part of Sewanee history.

SEWANEE FRIENDS AND ALUMS: We must keep the pressure on McCardell and Swallow to immediately cease the deconstruction of Rebels Rest and allow further discussion of potential post-fire renovation and reconstruction. PLEASE CHIME IN!!
Too much history to not preserve it.
