Love Ray's. He is always smiling and the food is always Awesome. It is a sad day that small businesses are pushed out for corporate franchises.

Are seriously going to push out local businesses to replace them with corporate franchaises and think people from Halifax will not have an issue with that ?

If those two incredible staples of Scotia Square are kicked out, I can just take my business somewhere other than Scotia Square. It's not like there's a shortage of places to eat within walking distance of the area. Heck, I don't need to do ANY shopping in the Scotia Square mall. There's nothing I can get there that I can't easily get somewhere else.

We need these ethnic outlets in the mall, the food is great and they're great friendly folks!

I think it's a terrible mistake to evict this business. There's a subway down the street leave it there

Keep these one-of-a-kind restaurants in the mall. Don't transform the vood court into another bland mix of franchises that we can get anywhere. Keep the originals at Scotia Square.

Another customer who does not want franchised food in the food court. Scotia Square will loose another food court customer with this decision. I go at least a few times a month and I do not live near Scotia Square. I make the special trip to Taste of India because the food is excellent and the prices are great.

Ray's was a memorable part of my Halifax visit - VERY unhappy to hear that these businesses are being evicted - what a mistake. I hope that this decision is reconsidered, or at least that they find even more success elsewhere.

This is like taking away part of our culture! We don't want more franchises going in. It's the small businesses and our relationship with the owners that make Halifax special :)
