I won't be eating yoga mat chemicals in Subway sandwiches instead of Ray's, that's for sure

Fast Food chains are good for some things, like I love that McDonald's has come to SS for the coffee, but honestly I love the variety for lunchtime, its another option to greasy fast food. They definitely need to update their look but taking them out all together is not the option. Oh...and bring back The Battered Fish!!

My only reason to come to Scotia Square is for these two restaurants. If they are gone, I will not darken the door.

I have been eating at Ray's - and loving it - for over 15 years. Keep Ray's in Scotia Square! A wonderful business like Ray's deserves respect. And renewal.

These two food outlets provide an oasis of beautifully tasty, extremely healthy, REAL food, all very reasonably priced. They are a community treasure. And Scotia Square management wants to show them the door? This is unspeakably shameful. I'm reminded of Joni Mitchell's 'pave paradise to put up a parking lot'. Are we still this blindly avaricious??

Local businesses should always be given preference over huge foreign franchises

They are the best outlets in Scotia Square food court. Don't crush independent business just for extra profits!

Please don't close! Scotia Square needs these places - there's hardly any other reason to come to Scotia Square.

Rays and A Taste of India are the only reasons I would ever go into Scotia Square. It is easy to see that they are incredibly popular. It seems that renovations will get rid of the only thing in the mall that really attracts people, probably to replace them with some artificial eatery that will serve food no one really wants.

These are both great places to eat and should be able to stay!

Cannot let it go without adding my name to plead for Ray's to stay. This is healthy food as compared to what management seem to want to bring in.

Without Ray's and Taste of India, there is literally no reason for me to set foot in Scotia Square anymore.

My name is Mrs. Edna Morgan. My sister Mrs . Ruth Bigio lives in HALIFAX.—I have visited her annually for the past 30 years—and thoroughly enjoy my visits. One of the highlights of those visits has been the regular visits to RAY’s food outlet in Scotia Square Food Court, so you can imagine my disbelief when I heard the news that it is to be removed from there . I cannot imagine why!! Not surprisingly, there is a permanent queue at this little outlet . The choice of food is wide, the food itself is delicious, the staff are extremely caring and courteous—[every time I visit, they remember me and where I come from.]We don’t have anything quite like that in the U.K.—We have the large multi-nationals but their choice of food is nothing like that which can be obtained at Ray’s!!. I feel quite sure that I will not be the only person to contact you re this decision—and I do hope that some thought will be given to the effect it is going to have not only on customers, but also the owners and staff of this very popular outlet!!
