Riding kept my grades up, helped me manage my ADHD, and even provided me with a work study job for 3 of my 4 years at R-MWC. I even bought my first horse from the Riding Center.

This is an integral part of Randolph. Without the program you will continue to diminish in appeal for students seeking a small college experience. You've already gone coed and sold the museum art. What's next? Closing the riding program would be the final step in the downfall of our school.

Class of 1998. The riding center brought me to RMWC. I never would have made the decision to go had I not received that first brochure.

I have been showing at Randolph Riding center for most of my life. I can remember my very first horse show there, doing the pleasure flat classes, and I still have pictures on my tiny pony outside the indoor arena. For my whole riding career, Randolph has been the go-to place to show for my barn- it’s close and convenient, has a wonderful ring (both the indoor and the large outdoor), and the people there are always friendly, kind, and helpful. Randolph is more than just a place for Randolph college to practice; it’s a great place for horse people of all kinds to come together and show!

Please don’t destroy another RMWC tradition. This riding program was one of the main reasons I decided upon this school!

I love this place and learned so much here. I’d hate for others to not get to experience the same in their time at Randolph.

Such a unique place in VA. It is a place that is rare in today’s world and those things are worth saving.

Please save this beautiful place! I showed in my first horse show there and cherish the beauty of the land and horses every time I drive by. Not many places left for the equestrian enthusiast in such a convenient location. More young people need to feel the power in the reins and joy in the saddle rather than fingers on their phones. Please save this important place for generations to come.
