Save Randolph College Riding Center

The riding program was the cemented my decision to attend RMWC.

Closing RCRC would be spineless

Do not close this center. The riding center and the equestrian program impacts so many students and the community. My young daughter, age 15, has ridden at the center numerous times through local shows, hosted by your fine equestrian program. She has received instruction from your talented and committed coach, Chris. Your value as an educational institution is judged on your commitment to the very things that support your students. Your equestrian students represent the quality of your school and your mission as an educational institution. They are dedicated, caring, personable and exceptional in the way they represent RandoIph and themselves. My daughter is always excited to show her horse at your center. Your leader, Chris, invites her to learn and grow as an equestrian and as a young person. Your riders are personable, dedicated and committed to the entire program.You are missing the very value of your equestrian program and the development of your fine students, if you close it.

Columns of numbers cannot begin to measure the true worth of the Randolph College Riding Center. Please look beyond mere numbers and consider the value the riding center adds to the college experience of the students that spend time there.

Dont get rid of something people enjoy.

The riding program has been instrumental in the growth of my daughter, and is one of the reasons she selected Randolph College. Please keep this program.

This is an amazing program that is a benefit to the community and the college!

Please don't take this from Randolph! Those people are wonderful and so are their horses! Riding in college is a lot of people's sanity, their escape. It is therapeutic. Take if from a college rider who knows.

Don't ruin people's lives by taking this away :)

Riding in college has given me so many wonderful opportunities and experiences that are very valuable. I hope that the Randolph College Riding Center can be saved for its current and future students!

College riding programs are an amazing opportunity. Don't let this one end!

'98 and '04 alumna

The worth of a college riding program to the students and surrounding community cannot be counted in dollars. Especially one as well facilitated as Randolph College's.

Riding was instrumental in setting me on my career path as a vet. I made life long relationships and money can't buy that. I wish that other riders will still get to experience the riding center in the future

This would be an outright shame

I was at RMWC from 2003-2007 and the riding center is what made my entire experience extremely special and personal. I was on the riding team every year and became the team captain my junior and senior year. After I graduated I was hired back by my coaches to work and train for the center. At that time I learned just how many lives the riding center touched. Not just those of us who rode our entire lives and knew we needed this as a part of our college, but also those who needed an escape from campus life or drama. Horses and this facility means so much more that so many people than you may ever realize. This will be a terrible mistake if the center is not saved.

Please find a positive way forward that allows the riding center to continue to move forward!!!

Please save Randolph Riding Center. It is an important part of the local horse community. My daughter has riden there for BRHF AND IEA shows as well as in lessons and clinics. The riding center is a unique resource in the community and sets Randolph College apart from other colleges. It has produced many riding teachers in the area and nationwide. Please save this special place.

Riding/sports are very important!!

It would be a tragedy if this NATIONALLY recognized riding program was eliminated!!!
