The Board has officially reversed their decision and the riding center is staying open. We achieved this because you refused to back down when they told us our program was on the chopping block. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates on how we move forward.

The Randolph College Riding Center has long been a staple in our community. Many legendary riders have walked the aisles, and several of us formed careers out of our experiences with RCET.

The Board of Trustees is reviewing the Riding Center in the midst of a Financial Crisis. Although the end is not certain, we must ensure that there is never an END to our Riding Center.

Whether it is crowd funding, or recruiting-- we are #Wildcatstrong and we are not done yet!

We have a Facebook Group Started: Save Randolph Riding Center #SaveRCRC

Though I am not an alumni of Randolph I have competed there numerous times over the years. Closing this facility would be a major loss to not only the college, but also the horse community.

That riding center was the only reason I even looked at R-MWC and one of the main reasons I chose it... and I was full paying student. How much effort does RC put into recruiting riders?

This program is an important resource for the college and those it educates, but for the entire commonwealth, too. As someone who loves horses and has a familial connection to a current program participant, I’m eager to make a financial contribution to help keep it viable.

Riding kept my grades up, helped me manage my ADHD, and even provided me with a work study job for 3 of my 4 years at R-MWC. I even bought my first horse from the Riding Center.

This is an integral part of Randolph. Without the program you will continue to diminish in appeal for students seeking a small college experience. You've already gone coed and sold the museum art. What's next? Closing the riding program would be the final step in the downfall of our school.

The horses that serve the students deserve a better fate than this! I worked for Randolph as a groom for 15 years, and the horses there deserve the best! Hate to see the fate for them if the college absolves this program.

Closing RCRC would be spineless
