Many reasons I oppose the effort to change zoning. This is not a minor change as suggested by the owners. It will be detrimental to all surrounding residential homes.

I am concerned by the impact this business will have on the nearby residences. I do not believe the proposed business is a good fit for our neighborhood. It seems illogical to place this business here, in light of the proximity to other nearby commercial areas.

There is no place in the midst of residential for such a business which would only pull down the neighborhood. Yorkshire is thriving and everyone is happy with its mix. Even the city has an investment in the area with Lichterman. Budget needs to find a more commercial setting!

PLEASE reject this application. Not only is it really inappropriate, that small shopping center is making a comeback, and this would derail that comeback in a big way.

Please protect the residents of the actual planned development-the residential neighborhoods. The application, if approved, would not be a "minor change" to the actual planned developments and will be a devastating influence to the current destabilization of the surrounding neighborhoods.
