This cemetery is a historic, sacred place. It should not be displaced or developed on.

Please stop this development which disrespects Pu’uiki Cemetery and will have damaging impact to the reef in Kaiaka Bay.

Not everything needs to be developed... stop the desecration! Stop hiding behind your development company and SPEAK WITH the people of this community! You are not above the native residents here! And you cannot do “what you want” just because you think you can get away with it. HEWA!

How would you feel if we dug up your family and friends from their burial sites??...to make way for a shopping mall, or a damn public park!! This is hewa!! And this where people are laid to rest at death. Wtf!

This cemetery has local and historic importance. Family friends and colleagues buried there and the Waialua and Haleiwa areas they knew has been overrun by outsiders. Please help preserve this local history as so much has already been destroyed.
