This is such a sacred place, and represents not only a united community, but also a unity of Hawaii's people, and shows how the World can do the same. It goes without saying that a State historical designation would be more than appropriate, but would assist immensely in the preservation of this sacred land. Thank you for starting this petition. My wife has here grandparents and great grandparents and a cousin there. We recently went to visit but were turned away and threatened with arrest,thankfully we were able to get help from some locals to finally get to pay respects thank you so much to everyone who helped. We need to preserve the cementary for future ohana to pay respect to our ohanas.
