Please keep the Santa Margarita River Trail open to the public. We enjoy coming here and being in nature, with the beautiful oak trees and river. It is good for all humanity.

We love riding the Santa Margarita River Trails, and do so at least once a week. We always see lots of equestrians, runners and hikers along with families enjoying the beauty of nature here. Losing these trails would be a tragic loss to everyone.

This property is almost unique in Southern California, with a river that flows year 'round. Please preserve this beautiful bit of nature. We all need more of the natural world in our lives to contemplate and explore.

Please keep this trail open. We are losing places to ride our horses every day. Horse people provide a lot of income to the State - through our property taxes, truck/trailer registration fees, gas taxes, purchase of feed and tack to support our local suppliers. We deserve to be heard and supported.

In our busy lives, we need quiet places that offer peace to recreate such as the SM Trails for hikers and equestrians. Too many trails are disappearing and we cannot loose an important recreation space in the middle of the density in which we live such as this system for all to enjoy for now and the future.

This is a beautiful riding area and it is a shame equestrians in Southern California have so few places to ride.

The SM trail system is one of the most important locations for equestrians and hikers. We live in a densely populated area. Please keep this system in place and open to equestrians and hikers. Once lost it can never be regained. Let's keep this natural setting for future generations. Thank you for your consideration.

Walking this trail is the highlight of my week - I get out there any Friday afternoon that I can - a very special place and the best way to re-charge my batteries and appreciate the many wonders of nature. I am grateful for this effort to make sure that we can still have (appropriate) access to this amazing area.
