There is so little land in the Greater San Diego County area left for enjoyment of riding. We need to hang on to as much as we can for our future generations to experience. Sadly horses have been pushed out of so many rural areas over the past 20 years.

I am a North County native and have seen such huge growth in this area that I grew up in over the years. This may be good for the economy but it has taken so many of our beautiful natural areas away from those of us who enjoy riding, walking or hiking these trails. When my parents moved up here from San Diego it was because of the untouched natural beauty. We need to keep this area with some of our natural areas open to public use!

I strongly support the request that FPUD record a legal easement on the deed to provide for non-motorized public trail use including equestrians, throughout the river valley property and that this is recorded on the Deed prior to any sale closing. Erna Adelson

This land needs to stay open and available for public use. Places like the Santa Margarita trails are becoming harder and harder to find.

Please help. We are running out of horse trails. We are being pushed so far out. Santa margartia is one of the most beautiful trails and it's so close to home. I would be down there at least 3 times a month. Please don't take it away from us.

It's not only the remaining "back country" that needs to saved.Urban open space that remain, and is not in a building zone, needs to stay open.

it's not right to close trails to riders -and no reason to.

Please maintain this beautiful trail system for all to enjoy. Wild places are shrinking, and experiencing them is important to everyone's quality of life.
