We purchased property specifically so we could have easy access to these beautiful trails. They are well used and loved by all who have traveled them.

This trail along the Santa Margarita River is a Fallbrook treasure. I have been riding my horses for the past 12 years in the calming serenity it brings to my life. I have walked my 3 dogs to their enjoyment as long. It's lovely to see the groups of seniors and families hiking these trails to stay fit. What a tragedy if it were closed to the public.

I've been riding this trail since I moved to Fallbrook in 1985, and moved there for that reason, to ride horses in the freedom on Santa Margarita Trails and Southern California. This is a historical place to ride and should NOT be eliminated. Gorton Tinker in the 80s guaranteed the equestrian community 30 years ago that it would ALWAYS be preserved for the people!

Ome of the few areas in Sother Ca. You can ride along a water source. Please save it for the future of riding.

We have had many good years riding the trails. It is the equestrian people that do most of the maintenance and clean up on the trails. Many hikers and families enjoy the little slice of nature. It would be a shame to loose that little piece of heaven when there are so few places to relax, and socialize in a healthy and calming environment I hope that it remains open to equestrians hikers and families

All of our remaining wild spaces should be protected for the peace and well-being of our future generations. North County San Diego is one of Southern California's last remaining natural ecosystems. Preserving this wild habitat would be beneficial to everyone.

Enough of paving over natural resources.
There are ways to save this if someone in government will act.

I walk the Santa Margarita trail at least once a week; it would be a shame if it were to be closed to the public.
