Too Many Regulations for sports events..

There is no need for the state to regulate a self-regulating entity like professional wrestling. The workers know how to take care of and protect each other, which is more than can be said for most industries. All this will do is squeeze out the local promotions and create an even bigger monopoly for the WWE and other monolithic wrestling organizations. Try turning all this regulation to someplace that needs it, like campaign finance reform.

Hello I am an instructor for the College Experience program at Saint Rose. Many of my students are very big fans of wrestling. In fact we have created a wrestling club on Wednesday evenings. And we were hoping to plan on going to shows in the near future. They are already disappointed about not being able to to see WWE's RAW and Smackdown shows that come around town during the fall. And I'm positive that they would be even more disappointed if they didn't have the chance to see the local talent in action this semester.

Save independent wrestling! It is good clean family fun. No different than any other physical contact sport.

This is a load of bs! Get rid of this rubbish! Wrestling is the only place that feels like home. For myself and others an only outlet and for many their livelihood!

This will make it hard for working class families to enjoy local wrestling events that they've enjoyed for years without serious incident. Wrestling should not be subject to the same criteria as MMA and other "combat" sports.

With the recent alterations to the NYSAC guidelines, meself as a promoter dxpect to make less of a 10% profit as new costs will effect me directly and my ability to roll small profits towards new events. Professional wrestling is a form of entertainment scriptwd, not a combative real sport like MMA and Boxing. They should be held separate however required each Professional Wrestler to have a NYSAC License like it us to be. All of this could have been avoided if the decision making officials asked for input on ways to help make it better. I also am up for discussion with NYSAC to help.

the already stringent rules and high prices for wrestling entrepreneurs is uncalled for and new measures could be taken. New regulations are fine but at the very least, reduce the license cost to be a bit more reasonable.
Im trying to be a wrestler im trying to save it
gotta save what we love
Save wrestling
