The commission finally backed down and revised those suffocating rules. I am exhausted from this fight but incredibly grateful to the 1,082 people who stuck by me. We won this round, but we need to stay alert to ensure these shows remain open for good.
With the recent rules and guidelines being added to the NYSAC rule book, it's become nearly impossible for promotions to run a show or to put on a good show. It's time for us to finally speak up against this and for us to unite to make the NY Wrestling scene great again! Here are some rules that are completely outrageous. Below is the link to read the new rules and guidelines
Reaching this level of support confirms that I am not the only one frustrated by these crushing regulations. It has been a long road but seeing so many people rally behind the future of our scene gives me the energy to keep pushing ahead.

The obstacles the commission put in our way wear me down but I am not walking away from this fight. If you can get this link in front of one new person today we might finally crest this milestone. I am exhausted by the silence from officials but I need you to keep pushing.

Why should professional wrestling be regulated by the NYSAC when other comparable art forms, such as ballet and stunt performances, are not? The cat is out of the bag and has been for decades: wrestling is not a legitimate sporting competition and there is no reason for it to be regulated as such.

The New York State Athletic Commission's jurisdiction over professional wrestling is intrusive, archaic, and will effectively smother the life out of a fabled, self-sustaining industry primed for a renaissance.

It is entirely humorous the changes the nysac have made for pro wrestling. Everyone knows pro wrestling is compared to the red headed step child but these changes are what because money isnt going where they want it to go? MMA understadable its a FIGHT...Pro Wrestling is a PERFORMANCE

While these regulations will keep some of the worst people in the business from performing and soiling independent wrestling, it'll keep 10 times as many good performers from being able to ply their craft. These rules are BS.

The Indy Wrestling community is huge in New York... If it ain't broke why fix it.
This type of restriction in New York can damage the wrestling scene causing all types of workers to lose money to feed their family.

New York is already one of the toughest places in the country to do business. All the new regulations for 2017 does is make it tougher for promoters to bring quality entertainment to the fans that love it.
