Preston High School is pillar of the Throggs Neck community. The will of certain individuals to alter the state of this community without a chance to hear the school out; its staff, students as well as its parents. Keep this momentum should a priority for all parties involve.

Please consider how negatively this will impact the students, families, and community. This school has been a great resource for my mentee, Lismary who was able to obtain multiple college acceptances due to the education she received here. In addition, this school was able to successfully educate students through the pandemic. The students there are resilient and struve for excellence. Please do not close down Preston, this community is already dealing with enough stress.
