I’m signing this petition because we need better schools in our district. My son was just assaulted at public school 72 and what I don’t understand is they wanna take out one of the only good schools we have in the area. So not fair! Save Preston high school!

Preston was an important part of my life, shaping my relationship with myself and other women in my formative years. I think this space is needed now more than ever, a place where young women can feel heard and valued.

Preston High School is a Bronx Icon of learning and education for young women from all walks of life. With a long standing tradition of servicing the NYC community. Having a daughter has made me understand the importance of education and self esteem for youg woman and Preston H.S. has been providing these esential qualities to young women for over 60 years. We need to keep this tradition going.

Preston High School has been a cornerstone of the Throggs Neck Community for many years. It has molded and shaped many lives and futures of young women. This institution needs to stay open for the students and to continue educating our aspiring females now and for many years to come!
