Preston educated me beyond academics. It taught me to be a compassionate, respectful human being. It taught about the world and society & it taught me to have self confidence and self advocacy. Closing the school would rob future generations of women of these lessons, and would jeopardize the progress made in advancing education for women. Do not make that mistake. Keep Preston open.

I am a graduate of Preston and I am heartbroken just thinking that the school may close. This school has been a pillar of education and the community for more than 75 years and it would be a shame to see it close

I moved out of the Bronx before I could attend this school but this was my school oh choice had I not moved! My mother went to this school along with many many many family members! 75 years shows you it should nnnooottt be closing! The kids need a safe, warm and educational place that care about them and this is it!
