OK Now that we have saved PHS, it's time to send in our support, yes, financial support, so that this drama does not get played again. We need to add to the development fund to be able to restore and renovate the mansion. We need to beef up the scholarship fund given the expected need for add'l support as our economy shifts. My suggestion: Let's swamp the school with checks before it reopens after Spring break. Checks sent directly to the school, payable to Preston HS, memo: keeping Preston Open. And let's send some balloons. too! I'm thrilled!!!!!!!!

I graduated from Preston in 2003. You not only changed my life, But it prepared me for college. Going to Preston gave me the skills needed to be successful in my career today. Please keep Preston open for other girls who will make a difference in this world and make it a better place.

Preston High School is not only an essential source of education and community, it remains the single best opportunity for young women of the Bronx to achieve, thrive, and become their greatest selves. To lose it would be to lose one of the best parts of the Bronx.
