I totally agree with all the comments re saving the signal box. However we will also need a clearly defined plan as to how we see its future. I wouldn't disagree with the idea of a local railway museum, but Network Rail will not allow the general public that near to the main railway track; therefore could we apply for grants to relocate it?
The alternative would be to ask a steam heritage line; (Llangollen), to see if they could use it. At least it would remain in use.

Keep the signal box it is part of Welsh history, Harlech signal box was taken down in 1988, if I had been in the UK at the time would also have petitioned for it to stay, one of my Uncles worked there and it was part of my childhood.

It's a lovely creature of what used to be a prize winning station! Let's keep the station looking welcoming especially for tourist as it's their first impression of the town and tourism is a large part of your local economy.
