The proposed redevelopment plan, submitted by the owner, Atlantic & Pacific Properties should have at least half the units for affordable housing.
I always hear that there should be enough housing for the poor when election time comes around. How about keeping that promise to us and to the poor.

Thank you for your assistance & attention to this community matter, which actually seems to be affecting the wider San Diego area as well. I hope the Mayor will really make Low Income & Affordable housing a real priority as he stated in a recent news conference.

Let's bring back community to the people that actually make up the community, the ones which would potentially be displaced should these luxury homes be built! #insolidarity

Affordable housing matters. Especially for the tenants of PQ Village. Do the right thing and improve their living conditions, not take them out of it.

It's important to keep the children who reside in this affordable living in Rancho Penesquitos. They are the future and deserve to be in good schools. Keep these complexes. There is other places to build. For example there is no need for the golf course that no one uses.

Please don't uproot us from the community that we love and call home! Affordable housing is not available without going on a waiting list that is sometimes years long. Having to leave my prior residence of 9 years due to rent increases caused me great anxiety and a lot of money. Please don't take this home from us. I certainly don't have any funds available to move. I'm disabled and very stressed over all of this.

The prayer procession was therapeutic for my spirit and sense of community. Walking the path of service requires one to endure discomfort and persist. When you walk with people who share your values, the path transforms into a community. Thank you, Father Anthony, for empowering your congregation to create change.

It was, in part, due to living in this complex of apartments that I was able to attend Mount Carmel and later SDSU. It is a shame that they could be torn down and replaced with housing that restricts most of its current residents from affording to stay in the area.
