There are so many needy and homeless people in this country and this sort of thing just makes everything so much worst for the poor, and I am strongly against this sort of unscrupulous profiteering at the expense of the common good and the community.

I grew up in PQ Village in the 80's. There was a sense of community and a good amount of green space to play, which is not something that is common for apartment life, especially if you're in low-income housing. To replace this with a huge development with a drastic reduction of low-income units is heartbreaking in so many ways, and would be such a detriment to the community.

I am in total agreement with the above message. My daughter, who cannot walk and is in a w/c, has her name on numerous lists and has not had one response. What's next for her?

With the shortage of housing in San Diego, it is inhuman to throw those who occupied the low income units to the cold.
