23 years in and now the this kicker... risk my life and gain nagging injuries for the betterment of society just to be betrayed? This is nothing less that a stab to the back, a formerly trusted friend shows their true colors. There are ways to address underfunded contracts within the existing law, through bargaining and showing financial hardship (where one even exists...). You know we cannot strike, this is as underhanded as it comes.

These are contracts enter into with a understanding that both side would honor them. So now the state government can come in and Change what is an agreement between the city and the employees

There are thousands of men and woman who were promised benefits for the years of service and sacrifice now this is threatened because of legislation. This is wrong in many ways
