First the state decided to tax our pensions. Then the county of Jackson took 69 million out of our pension fund to balance their budget. The county then took more money out of our pensions for health insurance after they said they wouldn't. Now the state wants to pick our pockets again. When will it stop? When will government start holding up their end of the bargain?

Leave our hard earned pension and health care alone. We sacrificed much in the line of duty to earn these as a way of knowing after all the darkness we handled for you to be safe and comfortable we would be able to care for our family after.

I'm a former correction officer and a criminal justice student for law enforcement and I am aware about this situation and we need support for our police and it's ashame that many government officials are not helping. This country itself won't tolerate it.

The Governor and other state leaders have spent a great deal of time lauding the service and sacrifice of our Public Service professionals. To now modify promises made regarding retirement and medical benefits would not only be hypocritical but a lie of the worst kind to those who have given selflessly.

The very thought of a bill like this not to mention the 12 others is beyond disgusting, disrespectful and scary to the men, women and families of these selfless first responders!!! They have spent countless hours away from their families to protect you and yours!!! The Congressmen/women that support this bill are inhuman!!! Just sick and wrong!!!

Please allow these public servants to keep the benefits that they have been promised and have earned.

When does breaking the backs of public safety personnel and municipal employees to correct the malfeasance of our elected officials come to an end. I am unaware that any of the legislators are voting to include themselves as willing to pay more for their Cadillac health insurance.

Do not cut any of their pensions! They risk their lives to save all of ours!

It is unfair to make changes that affect our most important police and fire workers.

A deal is a deal where I come from. Its completely out of line to for anybody to suggest making change to a retirement agreement!
