Please consider saving this old beauty of a tree. Wouldn't be a lovely backyard for a new home??

Iconic native trees, especially those which are hundreds of years old, are not in the way. They are far more valuable than another McMansion. Our community has spoken and we intend to preserve them. Public servants should listen to their consitiuents.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If the developer is too ignorant and takes down this, or any other tree, Mother Earth will come knocking. And that goes for the person who sold this sacred place.

One by one and lot by lot we are loosing beautiful grand trees in Sarasota. Every time this happens the quality of life here is diminished. This has to stop.

I grew up there and in those woods before it was a park. I'm very strongly against damaging or removing the old trees. To me it's a sin against nature. We can't keep destroying nature or we will be destroyed.

Pink Floyd is one of my favorite trees in Sarasota. It would be a disgrace to destroy it.

What is wrong with us, we need trees, big “mother” trees, they save us from the concrete jungle. Srq used to be lush and beautiful. Save our trees

There are NO replacements for Grand Oaks. They shade this lot to keep the earth cool, they absorb water to prevent soil erosion, they provide shelter for wildlife and food. They give back MORE than we give them! Please do save these trees for FUTURE generations. They were saved all these years for the present owner. How Lucky!

Pink Floyd is a historic treasure that honors the wonderful native habitat legacy of Sarasota. Respect the earth and resist immediate individual financial greed. Be kind and share this stalwart giant with the community.
