Having grown up in the area and cycled, scootered and jogged up and down this lane numerous times throughout my life. Nothing is sadder than thinking the future of this lane will be full of college kids racing their cars and busses clogging up the roads from both the nearby school and college at peak times causing chaos for residents and visitors alike. The residents will never know peace again if this building goes ahead and I feel for them immensely.

Please leave the lane as nature intended, not only for the benefit of local residents but also the precious wildlife.

I strongly petition against the plans to uproot & disturb this beautiful quiet Lane. There are elderly people residing here & they will be expected to continue their daily routines surrounded by an unreal increase in traffic & members of the public in their secluded area.

Please consider the natural world, we all depend on it

Environmental concerns should be addressed. The education of our young , and not so young people, should be provided as well as the provision of good, affordable housing stock. BUT not at the expense of the destruction of unique habitat.

I would also like to add my name to object to the enormous planned construction of a new college at Pibwrlwyd Lane and have emailed the planning department separately. The majority of residents bought and live in this lane for its quiet rural location. Some for many years. The extent of this planned project will have a profound effect on all aspects. The environment by changing the rural landscape, by increasing vehicular and human traffic to the lane and obvious related noise levels, drastically impacting the wildlife, the forest and fauna, the increase of waste and litter, the potential damaging effect to the natural water drainage in that area. The effect on the residents is simply immeasurable. From their outlooks, their personal safety and security both physical and financial, their happiness. The proposed plan completely changes Pibwrlwyd Lane from a rural small lane to an urban development site. How can this be possibly be allowed to happen. Lynne Robinson

This is a quiet residential lane and is used by a lot of walkers. A development of this scale will have a huge impact on the traffic and noise which will make a fundamental change to this lovely location

This proposed development is outrageous! It will destroy the character of of a quiet rural community and is a massive over development. It must not be allowed.

Simply shocking! How on earth can this even be brought forwards for consideration? Sad indeed and I sincerely hope that the planning authority refuses this application for all of the stated and obvious reasons.

I am in full support of this action and have followed the matter closely since becoming aware of the planning application. This would represent an utter blight on what is a wonderful rural landscape and has provided a completely unsympathetic approach towards all of the residents (including wildlife) both in terms of the sheer scale and nature of the development, its huge imposing unattractive buildings and the potential for a further 3500 students within the lane. This added to another planned housing development at the end of the lane offers up nothing other than absolute destruction of a natural and beautiful environment. Shame on those who even considered this as a suitable location from the outset! There will be many other suitable locations available within the area, not to mention not moving it in the first place. The impact on those who have made this their home for many years and obvious additional concerns, in particular water 'run off' and drainage in an already 'affected' area, noise and pollution, anti-social behaviour and traffic increase are vast.

This is a lane mostly inhabited by individuals that have retired and are looking to live in peace and tranquility. The plans suggested will result in a massive impact on their lives and their immediate environment resulting in several years of dirt, dust, noise, upheaval, inconvenience and obviously massive levels of stress and upset. They are not being offered any form of compensation and are informed this is going to happen. If we cannot look after those that deserve their time of peace having worked for their families and this country for decades and decades then what compassion does this country possess. This goes way beyond the definition of unfair.
