Save Pibwrlwyd Lane.- Pibwrlwyd Lane is being threatened with massive change and urbanization. Developers sent letters to residents in the lane saying they intend to tear down mature long standing trees and woodland and hedgerow. They intend tarmacking the hillsides and placing massive dominating buildings on platforms on the greenfeilds of our lane. In the process they intend tearing up the homes of our resident hazel dormouse a very rare and endangered species. Residents of the lane have sent in objections and there is still time for more objections to be added. All objection letters carry weight so please do put an objection letter in to Carmarthen council the application number is PL/10198.

This is the email address :-planningconsultations@carmarthenshire.gov.uk

We feel confident other brownfield site options could be used. They are talking of closing Ammanford college which would mean that community loosing an asset and students having to travel with all the issues that brings.

The hazel dormouse cannot survive the loss of habitat and this is how endangered species are lost forever.

They are intending 3500 students be brought to our lane ,10 coach bays and 2 zebra crossing on the lane.

Please sign our petition to request a stop to this destruction .
