So the centre is being closed due to a £61k deficit, seriously! I bet the expenses of each trustee is more than that in a year. I find it hard to believe that BVT cannot find £61k savings elsewhere. It just goes to show they no longer care about the community.
I hope they change their mind.

I would like to say that it will be great loss for the community if the centre was to close down especially the children because they could turn to criminal activity if they can't find anything better to do.

Disgusted at the fact that we as residents and service users weren't even "consulted"! Come and speak to us... Don't let the staff and volunteers of Phoenix Hall do your dirty work !

My daughters attend this youth club and they absolutely love it. It will be a great upset to them if they close it down.
