Vital facility needed by so many

This is another example of making the "poor" pay for the excesses of the wealthy and powerful. Give them a chance to continue the service to the community!

This is a much needed community facility, there is very little else in this area. So it will be a great loss and know where for the community to go

This is an importan asset for the community and the youth would be lost without this..without this facility they are more likely to be vulnerable to crime!

Why cant the defecit be raised through local trust funding? £63k is not a lot to run all these services annually?? What would be the plans after it were to close? The village has nothing else and i hope this is not closed down but actually funded through better streams, please look into this further before closing down and consult the community!!

The Phoenix hall is keeping the children off the streets and out of trouble

Its a really good hall and it has been there for a good amount of time.Many people hire this hall.I strongly believe that this hall should stay the way it is. Thank you

Don't close this community center it's used by many & the youth clubs keeps children off the streets ie from commuting crime etc

Its needed for local community to have a gathering space as well as having a space for kids to have some of the sprots activities they normally are not available in area.

Phoenix Hall brings unity within the community. With amazing staff and an excellent range of facilities it provides a valuable service to the community. I cannot understand how they can justify closing it. Please reconsider the decision

Hearing of the closure of Phoenix Hall saddens me, because Phoenix Hall provided children of low income families experience's they would never have had I. e Trip to France, Old Trafford, Tuesday Youth Club, Stopping the funding for Phoenix Hall deprives good people their livelihood, and a loss of a facility that benefits the surrounding community I.e function hall, parties, meetings, fund raising events. Sad to hear it closing down

I have been attending this youth club for 5 years now and it has given me some of my most memorable and vivid trips.
