We need retail space in the downtown core of Windsor, not more parking. The way to make downtown more attractive and interesting is to diversify and encourage retail and other businesses in those very spaces being considered for closure.

We not only need retail space, we need retailers! There are too many "dead store fronts" as in the establishments that are only open at night. During the day they are a blank on the page that is our city centre. More retail open during the day the better.

I'm the owner of the leather store Larry mentioned in his list of interesting stores that were once on Pellissier. That was in the 80's. No reason it can,t be the same with new idea shops to cater to new market that will soon be downtown. How about a new CEO to revitalize downtown. We don,t have to reinvent the wheel just look at other downtowns that are now successesfull as Mr. Borrelli pointed out. Don,t take away downtowns retail space.

Don't let our city council take away downtown's retail space. Demand they repair and let downtown flourish!

Creating new 'dead space' at steer level in the core is not a good idea.

We need more shops. Windsor downtown is a disgrace. We have a beautiful waterfront, and that's it for locals and tourists. First of all ouellette should be close too all traffic, made it like Ottawa, a warm friendly walk way, with cafes, street vendors, flowers. Change the whole look, European shopping centres are family friendly. Stop thinking old lets Change Windsors look. With water taxied like Chicago. Open up your mind to the possibilities, we have a clean slate, let's for once in Windsor, do it right, plus made the streets around ouellette as one ways

Lets stop turning everything into parking space and create a downtown people want to WALK or BIKE around.
