Why Chicago? Why? This can only add a positive influence to Chicago's fast pace environment. There's nothing wrong with slowing down from time to time and it will also raise further awareness of cyclists within the city.

We pay enough jn taxes, parking, tolls, and stimulating the Chicago economy. With the city being as broke as it is, why shut down a local business that is a great source of income not only to small business owners but also money towards the city.
