Dear Sir or Madam: We need your help. RBS is shutting down the line of credit for Peacocks, a national, profitable and homegrown retailer, which will throw 9000 people out of work. We ask you, as our elected representative, to immediately reverse this and re-establish the credit facility so necessary to the operations of any retail firm. As citizens and tax payers, we look to you for leadership. Please take the action needed to ensure that these jobs are not lost due to RBS' mismanagement. We consider this a voting issue and are organizing Peacock employees to work with our elected representatives to forestall this wholly destructive situation. Again, we demand that the government and you as our elected representative take immediate action to preserve Peacocks as a viable, profitable business and the 9000 jobs of UK citizens and taxpayers.
