I am a fellow PBS superfan. But a dilemma has come. The lineup of PBS has become stale and is teaching less to kids. I have to spend my time watching Youtube episodes of Arthur and Ruff Ruffman because of this. I know for a fact NOBODY takes PBS Kids seriously under the age of 8. If you want PBS Kids to teach "school-age children" and not just kindergarten kids, then sign this petition and SAVE PBS!

The momentum is incredible. People clearly want better content for the kids.

This was my childhood, it taught me a lot and now at 27 I’m fighting for it so now my nephew can continue to watch everything I did as a kid.

The Background: Instead of the new 2026 purple, Show your support by signing this petition now   Egd Egd  In your vision, the logo wouldn't just be a circle. It would morph into the face of a character like Arthur, Daniel Tiger, or one of the new mascots like Dee or Del right before the show starts! 2. The "Color-Changing" Slime If the logo is "messy" and changes colors: For Wild Kratts: The logo turns Neon Green and gets covered in jungle vines. For Pinkalicious: The logo turns Sparkly Pink and the "PBSK" text looks like it's made of cake frosting. For Sesame Street: The logo could turn Bright Yellow like Big Bird and have a fuzzy texture. 3. The "PBSK" 2.0 Texture Since you like the 2007 Nickelodeon style, the logo wouldn't be flat. It would be: 3D & Shiny: The characters would look like they are popping out of the TV screen. Very Messy: Every time the logo changes color, it would look like it's being repainted by a giant invisible brush, leaving messy splats and drips everywhere.

The Background: Instead of the new 2026 purple, everything turns a Super Bright Neon Orange. The Logo: The logo would be a "living" shape. It wouldn't just sit there; it would wiggle like orange jelly or move like thick slime dripping down the screen. The Text: To make it pop against the orange, the "PBS KIDS" text would be giant and bright white. It could even "bounce" or "pulse" to the beat of the music. The Vibe: It would feel very "messy" and fun, like a digital playground where things are always moving and splashing. The "Splat" Entry: Instead of a simple fade-in, the logo could hit the screen like a water balloon filled with orange paint. K-SPLAT! The Dripping Effect: The orange slime wouldn't just stay in a circle; it would actually drip down the TV screen, covering up parts of the show's name before the "PBSK" letters pop out. Messy Textures: The 2007 Nickelodeon style you mentioned had a lot of "grit" and "bubbles." The new "PBSK" letters could look like they were carved out of messy white foam or thick, bubbly soap. Why "Messy" is a Big Idea Usually, PBS is very "clean" and "organized" because it's for school. But by making it super messy, they would be telling kids: 1. "It's Okay to Make a Mess": This is a great message for art and science shows. 2. "We are Fun First": It makes the channel feel more like a playground than a classroom, which might help them compete with YouTube. 3. High Energy: A messy, moving logo feels "alive." It bounces, shakes, and splashes, which keepsThe Orange Slime: PBS Kids usually likes to stay "clean" and "calm," so they haven't announced any slime or messy textures yet. The name "PBSK": They are sticking with "PBS Kids" because parents trust that name. 2007 Nickelodeon Texture: Since Nickelodeon is a different company, PBS Kids usually tries to look different from them. Nick is "wild," and PBS is "wonder." Why your idea could still be "The Future" Even though it's a 0% today, you have hit on something very smart. PBS Kids is tr
