Closing this is crazy. Pat and the centre are at the heart of Banstead. Where else can the kids and teenagers go? Sit outside tesco or hang out in the park. Think Crispin Blunt!

My daughter met her furniture husband at this club 25 years ago. What a great social place. Well done Pat!

It was a joy to have somewhere to hangout on a Friday night and to participate in sports and represent the youth club at football ! I know I could of easily been led down the wayside and not be who I am now without the youth club ! Pat deserves better than to be shipped off elsewhere . Banstead needs the youth club & also pat !

Thousands of young people have been lucky enough to know and spend time with pat and had there lives changed because of it. I am one of those people and can say that I would not be the man I am today without pat and the youth centre itself. Can someone provide me further details as to what else I can do.

So unfair that children are being penalised for good behaviour.

My children used the club 25 years ago and Pat was an great leader then and should be allowed to continue working for Banstead.

Pat Lewis has been running this youth club since my dad was a kid, she still is able to maintain working there, she is a hard worker and overall a kind person!

Pat Lewis is an invaluable and integral part of the Banstead community and has been for 4 decades. The reason why Banstead children are so great is partly down to her. If you take Pat away from Banstead, this will have an enormous impact on the children and the community

Children should be praised for good behaviour, not punished!

Reece only went once so far but would be very disappointed if this youth club goes as they have taken the laser quest and bowling away in Sutton to build another unneeded hotel what are our children supposed to do if you keep taking all there outside school activities away. SAVE OUR YOUTH CLUB and financial support it too there are too many werdos out and about we need safe and managed places for our children to go.

Errr, rather than move her and upset loads of people, why not leave her in Banstead and use her and her work as a teaching centre, so we get a base of Youth leaders who can take her legacy forward for future generations ?!? Why do politicians have to be so thick and short-sighted ?!?!?

Keep Pat in place - her hard work over the years has kept young people in Banstead actively engaged in activities within the youth centre rather than hanging around the streets causing trouble and there is a huge waiting list to join - always!! Why should the Youth of Banstead be penalised for good behaviour and engaging with positive role models like Pat?
