Save Park Bridge

Yes the bridge should be protected and kept in limited use.

This bridge is integral to our community. Businesses on the North side are affected by lack of traffic from the South as the detour is not helpful. As our main, local connection to services and friends on the North Deeside Road this bridge is vital to our community well being. Please ensure that it's fit for purpose.

We’ve lived in Drumoak for over ten years and used this bridge almost daily for so many things including commuting to work but more importantly for community links like Drumoak-Durris Scouts at Kirkton Hall. We are one church Parish and have been built as a community with the bridge as our connector.

I used park bridge almost daily and often crossed it 6 times within one day for work, clubs and community commitments. The closure has affected my work/childcare arrangements and many activities my family do. It would make a huge difference for it to be reinstated.

Park bridge is a great link between the two communities and is used frequently to cross the River Dee for access to businesses, tourist attractions and more. It is a lovely route to enjoy magnificent views of the River Dee.

I have lived in Drumoak my whole life, and believe the bridge is vital to the community.

Very important to keep the bridge to maintain the link between our local communities. Also without the bridge everyone would be forced to increase their carbon footprint!

Park Bridge has served a huge purpose since 1854. Six generations of my family have used it whether it be horse and bogey, bicycle or car. My Great Great Granny lived in the little toll house in the times where farming was thriving. Please don’t let us lose our heritage and the history that lies within our family tree.
