I used to go to this school and some of my favorite memories are from having parents come for lunch. Not only mine but others as well. They used to let you pick a couple friends to bring with you.

I went to school here and the parent child lunches were the highlight of any day. A parent being involved in a child’s school life is invaluable.

I think that this promotes a stronger bond between child and parents and allows the parents to stay more engaged with their child during the school day.

Parent/ child lunches are a very important bonding experience for families. No one has the right to deny that. I am fully against banning this and feel it would be a very negative and damaging thing for kids.

Please don't take this away from kids who have limitations on seeing certain parents. That may be there special or only free time with them.

The kids look forward to this, and the school should not deny the child the right to bond with parent. Let's work together to create harmony between everyone! The school mentioned its for security, but all parents have been screened and sign in each time they come in. There is law enforcement on the campus, and only a small number of people actually come in to do this with their child because of work obligations. Thank you all for your support!

I do not understand why this is a problem for the school, since it benefits both the students and the parents. I believe an explanation is warranted by school officials justifying their need to eliminate this.
